Pape Matar Sarr is under consideration by several clubs globally, with Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli the latest to register their interest in the Senegal international.

Sarr will be allowed to leave by Spurs should a suitable offer arrive, with the summer additions of Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes likely to limit game time for the 23-year-old.

Brentford and Aston Villa are also understood to be monitoring the midfielder’s situation; however, the Bees are yet to make a formal approach, and Villa are currently more focused on the signing of Joao Palhinha.

There is further interest from Germany as well.

Al Ahli have reportedly enquired in the past 24 hours to understand whether Sarr would be interested in a move to the Saudi Pro League.

Sarr signed for the Lilywhites in August 2021 and was immediately loaned back to FC Metz before officially linking up with the Tottenham squad in the summer of 2022.

Since then, Sarr has made 141 appearances for Spurs, scoring 11 goals and providing 11 assists in that time.

The Senegalese international enjoyed his most consistent run of minutes under former manager Ange Postecoglou but has seen his game time restricted since Roberto De Zerbi’s arrival.
