Pape Sarr could yet leave Tottenham before the summer transfer window slams shut, with interest from inside the Premier League and overseas beginning to materialise.

Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace have both made inquiries for the Senegalese international, with Brentford also admirers of the midfielder.

It was reported last week that AS Monaco approached Sarr, with talks believed to be still ongoing as Chelsea chase the French side’s midfielder, Lamine Camara.

Roberto De Zerbi has told Sarr that he is not part of his plans, with the arrivals of Sandro Tonali and Matheus Fernandes.

Spurs would not target a replacement should a transfer away from the club for Sarr go through and would demand upwards of £20 million for his services.

The club will be more focused on outgoings than incomings as the deadline nears, yet De Zerbi is still targeting one more forward before Tuesday.

Cody Gakpo is the Italian’s priority, with Iliman Ndiaye’s name mentioned as a possible alternative.
